This weekend I went on a youth retreat with my best friend’s church. It was a lot of fun, but my favorite part was this morning because we got to go anywhere we wanted and have some quiet time. I sat on a rock overlooking the sun, mountains, and newly bare trees, and the scene made me wish I had my camera. The most incredible thing though was that I got to spend some much-needed time with my God. No distractions, no people around, no nothing except God, me, and His creation. It was truly something I will never forget.
